- Surgical Education and Simulation Fellow

Duration: 2 years
The selected fellow will apply principles of learning theory to develop, implement, assess, and refine a curriculum relevant to surgical education/simulation. They will participate in the administration of the Surgical Skills Center by performing session evaluations, instructor recruitment, management of cloud-based system and reporting, and other responsibilities as assigned. The fellow will gain experience as an instructor in surgical simulations and receive mentorship in the role of surgeon-educator with experienced faculty. This is a two-year funded position.
Requirements
Completion of at least two years of a MD or DO residency program

1 Letter of support from the Chair of the Department or Program Director
Personal statement defining career goals, reason for interest in the Fellowship program, and current activities in surgical education research and simulation
