- General Surgery Categorical PGY-3 Resident
Description
The General Surgery Residency Program at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL has an open ACGME-accredited Categorical PGY-3 training position beginning July 1, 2026. Please see the specific requirements and instructions for applying below.
Requirements
Successful completion in good standing of two (2) years of U.S. clinical training in an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency training program (or currently enrolled as a PGY-2 for the 2025-26 academic year) is required, no exceptions. Applicants must be no more than one year out of clinical practice.

- Rotation Schedule for PGY-1 and PGY-2
- Competency-based Evaluations
- Three (3) letters of recommendation including one from your current program leadership
