Orthopedic- Sports Medicine Surgeon Opportunity

Maryville, TN [Greater Knoxville]

Prisma Health is seeking a Board-Certified Sports Medicine Surgeon with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine to join our growing orthopedics and sports medicine institute.  The institute’s Tennessee location is comprised of multiple orthopedic physicians and advanced practice providers. This new role will lead our continued growth and market expansion as an integral member of our multi-state sports medicine and athletic trainer network. 

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in sports medicine, working with high school and collegiate team coverage, and will be comfortable working with a broad patient demographic. The role will be based with our Prisma Health Blount Memorial Hospital. The hospital is located at the foothills of the stunning Great Smoky Mountains National Park and is a 300+bed acute care hospital in Maryville, Tennessee. Known as the "peaceful side of the Smokies," Blount County offers an abundance of outdoor activities including hiking, golfing, bicycling, tubing, canoeing, fishing, horseback riding, and camping. Residents also enjoy shopping for local arts and crafts, as well as attending music festivals and community events.
