General Orthopedic Surgeon | No Call | Emmett, Idaho
Step into an established orthopedic practice with an existing patient base and immediate surgical volume in Emmett, Idaho. You'll have the autonomy of a rural practice with the support of a physician-led health system, along with advanced surgical technology and access to the Boise metro area just 30 minutes away.
Practice Highlights:
- $618,000+ First-Year Compensation: Guaranteed first-year compensation of $618,000 plus incentives, with earning potential exceeding $709,000, along with a $50,000 signing bonus
- No-Call Orthopedic Practice: Enjoy a schedule of 2.5 clinic days and 2 OR days per week, with a negotiable 4-day workweek
- Robotic Joint Replacement: Utilize the brand-new Velas robotic surgery system for joint replacement procedures with dedicated OR support
- Build Your Practice: Treat primary total hip, knee, and shoulder replacements, arthroscopy, hand procedures, injections, and non-operative orthopedic care, with a Medical Director opportunity available offering an additional $48,000 annual stipend
Practice Details
- Average 30 clinic patients per day and 2-3 surgeries per OR day
- No spine surgery required
- Dedicated OR team including two full-time CRNAs, experienced OR nurses, and surgical technologists
- 16-bed Critical Access Hospital with full surgical capabilities, 128-slice CT, MRI, ultrasound, and on-site laboratory services
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency
- Eligible for Idaho medical licensure
- DEA and Idaho Pharmacy licensure, BLS and ACLS certification; 4+ years of post-residency experience preferred
