Piedmont Athens Orthopedics is seeking a board-certified orthopedic surgeon to service our community in Commerce, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a nationally recognized healthcare system as well as an excellent network of orthopedic professionals.

The ideal candidate is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who does general and sports medicine orthopedics. The candidate will join the Piedmont Athens team in the expansion of a satellite office in the Commerce community. The candidate will have the desire to add to the practice in our new Commerce location as well as become part of a collegial team working in the Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

The Commerce Medical Building is a new development that will include several service lines to include pediatrics, primary care, cardiology, imaging, lab, and OB/GYN. The office building is 20 miles from Athens and ~70 miles from downtown Atlanta.

Piedmont Athens Regional has been chosen as a Georgia affiliate for Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta and the official healthcare provider for the University of Georgia Athletic Association . The hospital also serves as an educational training site for approximately 160 medical students within the Augusta University/UGA Medical Partnership. Piedmont Athens is a level II trauma center.
