PGY-4 Categorical General Surgery Resident

The UPMC Mercy General Surgery Residency Program has an opening for a categorical PGY-4 resident to begin July 1, 2026.

Applicants must have completed three years of an ACGME accredited surgical residency program in the United States and be in good standing.

Requirements

Current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
Brief Personal Statement
USMLE and/or COMLEX Steps 1, 2, and 3 reports
Three (3) Letters of Recommendation, one of which must be from current Program Director
Rotation schedule from PGY-1, -2, and -3
Current ACGME case logs
ACGME Milestone summaries from PGY-1, -2, and -3
All ABSITE scores from PGY-1, -2, and -3
Current ATLS, BLS, ACLS certifications
ECFMG Certificate if applicable
