Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive health care network in Central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full time Physician Assistant to provide patient care for our Division of Plastic Surgery.

The organization includes five corporately affiliated hospitals, as well as skilled nursing facilities, community and school-based health centers, and health partners in related fields. Job Description & Responsibilities
- Join an established group of six full time physicians, and three Advanced Practice Clinicians
- Responsibilities include both independent and collaborative clinics, inpatient rounding and consultation, and assisting in the OR.
- Optional surgical call with $20K stipend
- State of the Art OR’s with one devoted to the Xi DaVinci Surgical System
- Some travel to outreach sites
- Full-spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
- EMR-EPIC
- Salary Range: $130,000 - $155,000. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good faith belief of the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards
- Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000
Job Qualifications
- National Certification as a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner
- NYS Licensure
- BLS Certification Required
- Previous experience in surgery preferred but not required
- DEA Required
- Individual must be motivated to tackle new challenges, and able to work independently
